About me: Hi! My name is Robert. I'm a bit of an odd case; geek, jock, intellectual, chef, gentleman, and writer all rolled into one! I have a few other writing projects under my name, including a handful of published materials. Most of my writing, however, has never made it to the public domain. I have kept it for myself, it was practice. After all, without a chance to learn one can never become better at a given task. I felt that this was a good time to try to share some writing, and so here we are!
About the site: This site is designed to be the center of my new project, and possibly future projects. Currently I am using it for the web novel exploratory project! To explain: A web novel would be a novel, hosted on the web with periodic updates. In other words, you read the story in parts as it happens. The idea is similar to a web comic... except in this case the point is a novel instead of a comic. Honestly, I can't draw well enough to make a web comic work... so count your blessings that I didn't try!
About Velindar's Lyre: Velindar's Lyre is my first web novel project. I am aiming for a weekly update schedule, of post varying in legth from a few paragraphs to about 20 paragraphs. I will be aiming for updates to be posted weekly on every Friday, with the possibility of earlier posts (First posting is on a Thursday, for example!!) As the story grows so will the characters and encyclopedia pages!
The story will be high fantasy, with some grounding in reality.

About the image for Velindar's Lyre: Just in case anyone wants to ask! I made the image through a combination of gradients and random tools. There is no real special meaning behind the image as of this time... but I might just link the design into the story somehow. Honestly, I just felt like an image would add a little flair, and so I went and made one. That is all there is to tell, at least for now, with regard to the image!
